As I walk along this journey I sometimes loose my way,
I get caught up in mundane things that often leads me astray.
If I am to fully know where this pathway is to take me
I must look inside and say
I am being true to me and I will find my way.

I see that other laugh
As I talk about what is important to me
I see that they don't understand
What I am I must be
I am true to me

Others can go through life not knowing
What joys that can be found
They spend so much time treading the same old ground
They hardly spend any time being true to their-selves
And not following their own pathway, but copying others that are around.
But I know I am true to me

I have seen many wonders
Experienced many emotions
Loved, lost and loved again again
Why?
Because I am True to me

Stop and rest awhile and allow yourself be still,

So that you may let your pace slow down as you journey through life.

Stop and rest so that you may see for a moment the eternal beauty that is around you this day,

And smell the fresh air that fills your nose.

Stop and rest.

Stop and rest and feel the abundance of your own power,

To acknowledge the steps that you have taken to reach this resting point.

See the steps that you have taken, leave an imprint in the earth

So others may see that they are on the right track.

Stop and rest.

Stop and rest so your heart can beat with the gentle rhythms that surround you,

For you sometimes wish to run ahead, and strain yourself in the process.

The goals of that which you seek are ahead of you and always will be there in your wake,

So take the time to rest for you have much work to undertake.

To light the path your on today

You must look inside and not hide away

To show yourself truth and love

And face your fears about the powers above.

The spirits and angels are with you now,

To help you understand how,

The beautiful things you’ve got to do,

To help others from feeling blue.

Your thoughts, your smile

And the things you say,

Helps others in the most extraordinary way.

Your healing gifts you have to use,

To help others through their blues.

Your fears and worries will soon pass away,

As you ask the angels for help today.

Say it now, and believe that it’s true,

You are a healer, with powerful tools.

Show your strength to others too,

And they will see that your actions are true.

So believe in yourself you know what to do,

For you have a powerful gift inside of you.

Smile, be happy and graceful too,

The world is a happier place because of you.
